Matthew Rodrigopulle is a 21-year-old aspiring journalist specializing in sports and multimedia, based in Toronto. He is currently studying journalism at Ryerson University. He has had a passion for journalism ever since he started blogging about the Toronto Maple Leafs in high school.

Since then, Matthew has expanded his sports journalistic ventures through currently being the editor and lead writer of the National Basketball Youth Mentorship Program, a Canada-wide youth basketball program. He has covered professional basketball with the Canadian Basketball League (CEBL) this past summer. Matthew is also currently a contributing writer at FanSided's Editor in Leaf, their Toronto Maple Leafs Blog. Additionally, he has held the position of site editor at FanSided's Pen's Labyrinth between March 2017-August 2018. His work with Editor in Leaf has been featured on Fox Sports. Matthew has also covered the Ryerson Rams of Ontario University Athletics (OUA) for RUtv News, the Eyeopener and the Ryersonian.

Matthew also has extensive experience in multimedia journalism. He is currently a reporter and sports editor at RUtv News, Ryerson University's on-campus broadcast station. He is skilled in Adobe Premiere Pro and has completed a variety of pieces. Additionally, Matthew has done a deal of radio journalism and podcasting, with fluency in Adobe Audition and professional audio equipment.

Finally, Matthew is an avid photojournalist, always looking to tell a story through his photos. He specializes in sports photography and portraits. You can always find him with a camera in his hand waiting to get the right shot.
